TV scientist Dr Helen Czerski was special guest at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls' GCSE presentation evening.
A physicist, oceanographer and broadcaster. Helen is an ex-pupil, who attended AGGS from 1990-1997, and it was she who first had recycling implemented at the school.
She is currently a research fellow at University College London, and her research focuses on ocean bubble formation.
She has also presented several television programmes including: The Secret Life of the Sun, Horizon: What’s Wrong with our Weather?, and Orbit: Earth’s Extraordinary Journey,.
Helen encouraged the audience to try new things and focus on what you find interesting as you never know where it will take you.
Helen spoke fondly of her days at AGGS, commenting on the supportive environment and all the opportunities available, and was delighted to be able to catch up with some of her former teachers.
