A PAIR of Hale lawyers will be swapping the courtroom for the stage tonight in aid of Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention.
Hale barrister Sally Harrison QC, Frances Heaton QC and friend Penny Haslem, will join professional comedienne Dana Alexander at the Contact Theatre Manchester on October 17, at 8pm, for the one-off ‘SJB Courting Comedy’ event.
The events will raise vital funds for Manchester-based Genesis, which is the UK’s only charity entirely dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer.
The lawyers have received training from professionals like Oliver Sykes.
Sally has already helped to raise more than £10,000 for the charity through fundraising this year.
Nikki Hoffman from Genesis, said: “This is an incredibly brave challenge for these women and they’ve put their all in to ensuring the event is a success.
