URMSTON Musical Theatre have presented a cheque for £736.76 to the Chairman of last season’s chosen charity, the Wibbersley and Thorne Society.
The charity was founded in 1985 by regulars from the Bird I’th Hand Pub in Flixton.
They raise funds for vital equipment for the Christie Hospital on behalf of the people of Flixton, Urmston, Davyhulme and Stretford.
Urmston Musical Theatre will start a new round of fundraising with their show, South Pacific. It is about two love stories threatened by prejudice and war.
This time the chosen charity will be Trafford Talking News for the Blind, based in Shawe Hall Community Centre, Flixton.
