PUPILS at Seymour Park Primary School in Stretford experienced an inspirational day of poetry.
In March youngsters wrote poems for a competition run by Vision For Education and pupils Sidra Thompson and Faatimah Lambat, both aged six, were declared joint winners of the literary contest.
The children received vouchers, a framed copy of their poem and a workshop with professional poet, Terry Caffrey.
He hosted a fun packed assembly and workshops with each class.
Terry said: "Writers aren't special people, they just have a special way of using words."
The visiting poet certainly inspired a whole new generation of writers when he came to Stretford.
