A CHARITY is appealing for children across Trafford to design their own superhero.

The British Heart Foundation (BHF), is hoping that kids will design their own heart superhero, by thinking about what he or she would look like, what super powers they would possess and how those powers would help fight congenital heart disease.

The competition will support the BHF’s latest campaign Bag It. Beat It, which urges the public to donate bags full of unwanted items to their local BHF shop. Every bag donated will help fund life-saving heart research, helping little heroes continue to fight congenital heart disease.

Entries should be submitted on A4 or A3 sheets of paper, or by email. Paper entries should be sent to: Bag It. Beat It. competition, FAO Samantha Bandak, British Heart Foundation, Greater London House, 180 Hampstead Road, London, NW1 7AW. Alternatively, entries can be emailed as an attachment to bagit@bhf.org.uk with the subject line: Bag It. Beat It. competition. The closing date for entries is Friday 26th September.

The winner will have their drawing made into a soft toy for them to keep and into poster for display in hundreds of BHF shops nationwide
