A PARTINGTON nurse is planning to climb the three peaks to raise money for an intensive care unit.
Sam Dixon, and six colleagues, who work on the new born intensive care unit at Manchester's Saint Mary's Hospital, are taking on challenge to raise money for the babies.
In just over a fortnight's time, Sam will set off to climb the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales, all in 24 hours.
The group will begin with the long climb to the 4,409ft summit of Ben Nevis, before travelling south to complete the climb of Scafell Pike and completing the challenge at Snowdon
