THE Labour party has announced its prospective parliamentary candidate for Altrincham and Sale West for the 2015 General Election.
James Wright, who lives in Ashton on Mersey, lives with his wife Claire and works for a North West based Housing Association.
He describes himself a passionate Labour activist who stood in the local elections in St Mary’s Ward in 2014.
A Labour spokesman said: “We are delighted to announce that following an extremely competitive selection process, culminating in a Hustings on July 21, that James Wright has been selected as the Labour PPC for Altrincham and Sale West.."
Mr Wright said: “I am proud and delighted to have been selected as the Labour candidate for Altrincham and Sale West.
"This constituency needs an alternative to the Conservatives and I believe Labour can provide this alternative.
"I look forward to the many and varied conversations I will have with local residents over the next nine months.”
