ST Hilda's Primary School in Old Trafford received a piece of potentially life-saving equipment with the donation of a defibrillator machine.
As part of the event staff were trained to use the device and they were also given CPR training. Pupils at the school were also given basic first aid training.
The machine has been donated by Janet Rowley who's husband died suddenly in February this year, and the funds have been raised by Jo Jackson - Janet's daughter - through the just giving page of Hand on Heart. A second machine has just been donated to Moss Park Junior School and will be presented to them in the autumn.
