THE Sale and Altrincham branches of the supermarket giant Sainsbury's have announced the charities will receive a year’s worth of fundraising and awareness support.
Hand on Heart is hoping to provide life saving defibrillators into Trafford Primary schools and Once Upon a Smile provides financial assistance to families stricken with bereavement.
The Timperley Girls Brigade provides a safe and friendly environment for groups of young women to form fun and inspirational group.
The retailer's charity scheme is now in its sixth year and gives customers the chance to vote for their favourite local charity and has raised more than £6m over the past five years.
A spokesman for Hand On Heart said: “We know the success that the local Charity partnership has bought to many charities in Trafford, so when we received the news, we were thrilled."
