YEAR 10 students from Sale High School enjoyed an 'excellent' trip to Manchester Airport when they attended its High Flyers event.
The initiative aims to give youngsters an insight into airport life and the pupils won medals for everything from teamwork to leadership skills.
The event was attended by 200 schools from across the north west and out of the eight awards presented on the day SHS took off with four of them.
Students Tia Charles, Chloe Herd, Elizabeth Herd and Faye Hughes were commended by the school for their performances on the day.
