TRAFFORD householders are being offered advice on how to protect their homes from burglars when
they are on holiday.
The advice comes from NHBC the UK's leading warranty provider.
It includes -
* keep eyes on your property and let trustworthy neighbours know your holiday plans;
* check your window locking systems;
*improving the security potential of your doors;
* making sure you have detection lighting and an alarm system installed.
Mark Jones, NHBC’s group head of house building standards said:”Spending money on security measures is a good investment. It will last a long time, can add value to your property and offers peace of mind that your home and belongings are well protected."
