A FORMER Sale High School pupil and South Trafford College student, Jaymie Timperley, from Sale, has got a job as a 3D developer with EON Reality, the world's leading interactive 3D software provider.
Jaymie, who has just completed a year-long part-time vocational course at the company’s Virtual Reality (VR) Innovation Academy, is one of 15 graduates to be offered a job with the US based firm. Jaymie has qualified as 3D developer after completing the course which is funded entirely by the company.
The 23-year-old signed up for a place at the free 3D modelling and coding course in Manchester last September, having studied media technology at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Commenting on getting the job Jaymie Timperley said: “I’ve learnt a lot more than I ever thought I would. The learning environment was great and really relaxed. I enjoy 3D programming and want to continue to work in the creative sector. It’s fantastic to get a job with EON Reality and I would recommend the course to anyone with an interest in this kind of technology.”
Ken Swain, EON Reality’s managing director in the UK said: “Jaymie is a very talented young man and has worked extremely hard over the past year. He’s shown a real passion for 3D content production which is exactly what we’re looking for."
