FOLKSY Theatre presents Shakespeare's The Taming Of The Shrew in Walkden Gardens, off Marsland Road, Sale, on August 22 at 7pm.
Baptista has declared that no one may court his youngest daughter Bianca until first her older sister, the ill-tempered Katherine, is married. Petruchio, a brash young man from Verona, agrees to marry Katherine – but can he tame her? The production is set in the 50's, the decade that brought us rock and roll.
