NINE year old Kirsten Dillon of Sale is set to go head to head with the best in the world when she represents Great Britain at this years BMX World Championships in Rotterdam, Holland from July 23-27.

The Moorlands Junior school pupil is hoping to put last years disappointment behind her, after being knocked off her bike in the semi finals of the European Championships, and is feeling confident after recently securing the North Region title for 9-10 yr old girls.

Riding nationally for the Big Daddy / Pure UK race team, Kirsten is currently ranked 3rd in the UK for 9-10 yr old girls, having taken a string of top three finishes at national events this year, including recent 2nd placed finishes at Preston and Derby.

Kirsten trains with Manchester BMX Club at Platt Fields, the National Indoor BMX Centre at Sports City, Eastlands and also at the recently opened Bruntwood Park BMX Track.
