A GARDEN party was held at Dunham Road Unitarian Chapel as part of its bicentennial celebrations.
The Provost of Altrincham, Denise Laver attended with other members of Altrincham Court Leet.
And the chapel’s minister, Rev Danny Crosby, also volunteered to go in stocks which had been specially-made for the occasion.
Although the chapel itself opened in 1872, Unitarian presence began in Altrincham in 1872.
