STAFF at The Co-operative on Barton Road, Stretford, staged a coffee morning for customers to celebrate the food store’s recent makeover - and raised £100 for St Hugh of Lincoln RC Primary School.
The coffee morning was arranged as a ‘thank-you’ for their regular customers, and for them to see first-hand the new-look store.
Store manager Wendy Smith said: “As a community retailer, it is vital we involve local residents and organisations, and we were delighted our regular customers, local residents and St Hugh of Lincoln RC Primary School helped us celebrate our revamp.
“The new-look store is packed with great-value, quality products and modern and interesting meal ideas that, while quick and easy to put together, are sure to impress.”
