A TEENAGER was grabbed by a man who threatened to sexually assault her in Davyhulme.

Police have now issued an efit of the offender following the incident on June 14.

The 18-year-old victim was stopped by a man in a car near to the junction of Vicarage Road and Bowers Avenue, at around 1.30am The man got out of the car and grabbed the woman, before pinning her against a fence and threatening to sexually assault her.

She managed to break free before the man ran away towards Davyhulme Road.

PC Clare Robinson said: “The victim has been left shocked by her experience but has managed to give us a detailed description so we can create an efit.

“Her attacker was also wearing a grey t-shirt and I would urge anyone who recognises the man in the image to contact police.”
