Altrincham choir's prestigious Festival date
THE Music Place Choir is due to perform at this year’s prestigious Manchester Jazz Festival.
The brainchild of its leader, Clare Morel, this community choir is run in partnership with the Cinnamon Club and Altrincham’s music educational centre, the Music Place.
The uplifting sound of 60 voices, along with the soulful Alison Owen on lead vocals aim to bring the Festival to a rousing finale.
The choir will perform at the Festival Pavilion in Albert Square, Manchester at 5.00pm on July 27. Tickets are available from.manchesterjazz.com/tickets.
