EDWARD Teggart of Broomwood Pharmacy in Altrincham has picked up the prestigious Alphega Pharmacy Regional Award for his contribution to community pharmacy.

Broomwood Pharmacy was selected for the award from the other Alphega Pharmacy members in the region.

Sue Moore, general manager, Alphega Pharmacy UK presented the winner with an engraved trophy and £1,000 to spend on the business.

She said: “The business continues to evolve with the customer and team at the heart of their decisions.”

A gala dinner was hosted at the conference by Mike Smith, Non-Executive Advisor, Alliance Healthcare, where 10 members of Alphega Pharmacy UK were identified for achieving excellence in community pharmacy. The regional winners will automatically be entered into the Alphega Pharmacy National Awards.
