SALE is gearing up for festival fever, with a fortnight of fun filled events for all ages.

Music lovers are well catered for and performances range from live jazz to the Gilbert and Sullivan favourite Ruddigore.

The community is also invited to come together for a picnic in Ashton on Mersey Park and festival goers can lose themselves in the fairytale world of Peter Pan and The Lost Boys in an open air theatre production in the pleasant surroundings of Walkden Gardens.
