ON Sunday, June 8 (12 to 4pm) the Society for Abandoned Animals is holding its annual dog show and fun day.

There will be classes for the most handsome hunk, loveliest lady, and puppies and youngsters. There is the chance to meet many former rescue dogs who have found new homes, tour the sanctuary, and learn more about the Staffy breed and responsible dog ownership. There will also be lots of games, a bouncy castle and a barbecue.

The show takes place at the sanctuary: Mosley Acre Farm, Barfoot Bridge, Stretford M32 9UP. Admission is £1 for adults, 50p for kids, with all funds raised going towards the animals in the society’s care.
