BUSINESSES put their best foot forward at PureGym Altrincham to raise money for the Christie Charity, by holding an event called ‘Altrincham Vs Cancer’ .
Twenty-eight firms were there on May 22, with everyone running 5km each, making a total of 140km.
Organisers Pure Gym and Altrincham HQ hoped to raise £1,400 in total and along with other initiatives they’ve put in place they have now smashed the target and raised £1,627.
Sarah Hagan, general manager of PureGym Altrincham, said: “Raising money for such an awe inspiring charity has been an absolute pleasure that the whole team have loved being a part of. It’s incredible to have 28 business giving up their time to give something back to the community.”
