Putting on the glitz to raise funds for Wellacre project
A STRICTLY Come Dancing style show with all the sequins and glamour that are associated with the TV programme came to Wellacre Academy to wow an audience of dance fans and raise more than £1,000 for the school’s AFRITWIN project.
The glittering event featured latin and ballroom national and regional finalists from Jane Jarivs dance school, who are also Wellacre students, to put on a show to rival the smash hit BBC programme.
Wellacre, which is in Flixton, has forged close links with a school in South Aftica through the AFRITWIN project.
