THE polling stations are open today, as Trafford goes to the polls in the local and European elections.
The council will be counting the votes tomorrow in order to determine who will become a councillor in 21 wards with 22 seats up for grabs (as two seats are available in Altrincham due to former council leader, Matt Colledge, stepping down).
To see a list of the full candidates in each ward visit here.
The European vote count will take place on Sunday evening in line with the rest of Europe as the north west chooses its MEPs for the next five years.
Visit messengernewspapers.co.uk tomorrow for our live blog from the count and all the results as they come in.
