THE Society for Abandoned Animals is holding its annual Dog Show and Fun Day at Mosley Acre Farm, Barfoot Bridge, Stretford, on June 8 from noon to 4pm There will be classes for the most Handsome Hunk, Loveliest Lady, and Puppies and Youngsters.

Visitors meet many ex-rescue dogs who have found new homes, tour the sanctuary, and learn more about the Staffy breed and responsible dog ownership. Attractions also include games, a bouncy castle and a barbeque.

Admission is £1 for adults, 5l0p for children, with all funds raised going towards the animals in the Society’s care. For more information visit the Society’s website or Facebook page, or call 0161 973 5318.
