A PRIZE has been established to in memory of the anti-poverty campaigner Paul Goggins, the former MP for Wythenshawe and Sale East who died in January.
Kate Green MP from Stretford and Urmston, took to the airwaves on Friday to talk about the award on Radio Manchester.
Mr Goggins was a champion for the anti poverty agenda in parliament and outside.
The prize, worth £3000, will be given jointly by the All Party Parliamentary Group on Poverty and the Webb Memorial Trust.
Community projects that have used innovative and engaging ideas can be nominated take any form and photographs, videos and other visual supporting evidence will be welcomed.
Anyone interested in getting involved should contact their MP and the closing date for entries is October 5.
