MORE than 60 businesses and groups showcased their wares, sold goods and sampled their products at the fourth Bowdon Business Fair, hosted by St Mary’s with St Luke’s Bowdon at the Parish Centre in Bowdon.

At the free of charge event on May 7, designed to support local businesses and promote them to the community, hundreds of people filled the centre.

There was live music courtesy of the Cinnamon Club and curry sampling generously provided by gourmet Indian restaurant, Swadesh.

Stands ranged from fine foods and wine to tax advice and web design, from sports massage, beauty products, cakes and clothing to jewellery and antiques.

There was also a grand raffle with more than 45 prizes donated by participating businesses.
