THRIVE Trafford is helping to deliver Trafford Locality Partnerships Voluntary Sector Grants (VSGs) that will distribute £120,000 to community, voluntary and charity sector groups who want to run projects that will enhance their local communities.
Three of Trafford’s Locality Partnerships - Old Trafford & Stretford, South Trafford, and Urmston & Partington - launched their Voluntary Sector Grant schemes on May 12. Sale Locality Partnership will be launching its grant scheme later in the year.
Groups from each locality will have £30,000 of the pot to bid for delivering projects that will enhance their locality. Groups can bid for up to £4,000.
Drop in sessions will be held throughout May to help groups with their applications- Urmston & Partington Locality: May 22, Urmston Library 3-5pm.
Old Trafford & Stretford Locality: May 27, Old Trafford Community Centre 4-6pm.
South Trafford Locality: May 29, Altrincham library 4-6pm.
