ALZEIHMER’S Society’s Dementia Friends is launching a new campaign asking Trafford residents to help those in the region affected by the condition.
The charity is asking people to volunteer to become a dementia friend which will aim to educate people about the issue and also let them know know all the the small things they can do to make a difference.
Around 29,177 people in Greaer Manchester currently suffer from the condition and the charity hope to highlight that people suffering from dementia can still lead fulfilling and rewarding lives with help from those around them.
