TRAFFORD Council is advising residents and businesses that it will be carrying out essential maintenance and upgrading work on its core IT systems over the weekend of May 10 and 11.


During this time people will not be able to access the website or use many of the vouncil’s online facilities, including those to make payments.


Any residents who would normally make online payments, including Council Tax, which are due during this time are being advised they need to make arrangements to make a payment by 5pm on May 9.


People wanting to make any other payments over the weekend can call into any of the following libraries during their normal Saturday opening hours as indicated below.


Council Tax payments cannot be made at the libraries.


Altrincham - 10am-4pm
Coppice  10am-4pm
Davyhulme - 10am-1pm
Hale  10am-4pm
Lostock  10am-1pm
Old Trafford 10am-4pm
Partington - 10am-1pm
Sale  10am-4pm
Stretford - 10am-4pm
Timperley - 10am-4pm
Urmston  10am-4pm
Woodsend - 10am-1pm


Payments cannot be made at Bowfell Library.
