CHESTER Racecourse is on the hunt for a talented presenter who will help promote this year’s Boodles May Festival, which takes place from May 7 to 9.

The winning host will work with Chester’s talented film crew to produce a short morning preview programme, which will be distributed before racing via the racecourse’s social media channels.

The videos will showcase all-important elements of a day at the races, including fashion, lifestyle features, competitions and other unique raceday content.

Aspiring anchors are being encouraged to produce and upload a short video focusing on their passion onto YouTube.

The selected presenter will be given expert guidance from a professional presenter as part of the prize and will receive a show-reel of their highlights. Rebecca Masters, marketing manager at Chester racecourse said; “We’re really excited to be offering someone this unique opportunity to be part of a buzzing festival and to bring to life, the three-day Boodles May Festival to racegoers via social media.

“We anticipate some great entries for this opportunity but really encourage anyone with a passion for lifestyle, racing or TV to enter.” Anyone who wants to entre should produce a short video of themselves – no more than a minute long - presenting something they feel passionate about, upload it to their youtube page and send the link to searchforastar@thisismc2.com.

The top runners will be posted on Chester Racecourse’s Search for a Star youtube channel daily (http://www.youtube.com/user/SearchForAStarCR).
