ST Mary’s, Bowdon, with St Luke’s will be hosting the 4th Bowdon Business Fair on Wednesday 7 May from 6.30 pm – 9 pm in Bowdon Parish Centre (opposite The Griffin, Stamford Road, Bowdon).
There will be food tasting by gourmet Indian restaurant, Swadesh, a glass of wine, cakes to sample, special offers and products to buy on the night. A grand raffle will provide more than 40 prizes.
More than 60 businesses and groups will be on show, from fine foods and wine to tax advice and web design, from sports massage, beauty products, clothing and jewellery to bespoke furniture, antiques and more.
St Mary's held its first business fair in 2009, at the suggestion of vicar Roger Preece, a former banker and management consultant. Its success led to an overwhelming demand for more.
At the last very successful Fair in May 2012, some 600 people visited the event.
