THE full list of candidates for the forthcoming local and European Parliamentary Elections has been published.
Eleven political parties will contest the North West’s eight European seats during the elections on May 22.
On the same day, electors in Trafford will be choosing 22 councillors in local elections.
The full list of European candidates can be viewed at northwestvotes.gov.uk, the full list of local election candidates can be viewed at trafford.gov.uk/elections.
Local election results will be announced on May 23 and European election results on May 25, as polls close across Europe.
Anyone wishing to vote must register by May 6.
Anyone wishing to vote by post must register by May 7.
This is also the deadline for receiving new postal proxy votes or for changes to existing postal or proxy votes.
The final deadline for people wanting to apply to vote by proxy (not postal proxy or emergency proxies) is May 14.
