HALE Civic Society is organising a fun day out for all the family on Sunday, May 11 from 2 – 5pm.
Hale SpringFest, centred around the Hale Clock Tower (Peel Causeway), will include a market and food fest.
The children will enjoy exploring the vintage bus and fire engine as well as joining in activities just for them and taking a turn on the merry go round.
The music showcase, dancing and watching Tim Burgess, who creates sculptors with his chainsaw.
Visitors will also enjoy the crowning of Hale’s King and Queen of the May and the best dressed dog competition.
Denise Laver, chairman of Hale Civic Society said: “Last year we celebrated the 150th anniversary of Hale station. Many contributors from last year have come aboard again this year.
“We would much appreciate sponsorship which is vital to us.”
