Altrincham Court Leet gives the thumbs-up to the ale at Hale pub

As part of its St George's Day celebrations, Altrincham Court Leet’s members called into the King George in Hale.

The ale taster to the historic body, Alderman Michael Owens, declared to the Provost of Altrincham, Denise Laver, “that the beer to be good and wholesome for men's - and women’s - bodies in Altrincham and environs.”

Landlord Mike Singleton received a certificate to mark this.
