RETAILER B&M invited some very special guests to the opening of its store on Altrincham Retail Park on Good Friday.

The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) charity officially opened the new store with store manager, Graeme Reid, and children’s favourite Peppa Pig.

The crowds also enjoyed free facepainting and Haribo giveaways, plus a chance to meet Peppa Pig herself.

CAFT was selected as the store’s ‘local hero’, and received £250 worth of gift vouchers to spend at the new store.

Store manager, Graeme Reid, said: “Thank you to everyone who joined us for our grand opening and made it such a fun day.

“It was a huge honour to be able to bring more than 60 new jobs to the area and be able to help our local heroes, the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.”

Helen Crowther, fundraiser at the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, said: “We’re delighted to have been chosen as B&M Altrincham’s local hero. The store’s kind donation will enable us to buy lots of lovely new things for the farm and for the children to enjoy!”

The new 20,000 sq ft store opened at Altrincham Retail Park in Altrincham, and created 68 new jobs for people.
