STOCKDALES has become a ‘chocholics’ paradise after the Sale-based charity received a donation of more than 100 Easter eggs.

The scrummy treats were donated by GE Capital on Old Hall Lane and the Co-op in Ashton on Mersey.

GE capital donated eggs to several local charities including Stockdales, along with 20 teddy bears that employee-volunteers had hand stuffed as part of a volunteering scheme.

The Co-op ran a special appeal to their customers to donate Easter eggs for the charity, to which they had an overwhelming response.

Natalie James, fundraising manager at Stockdales said, “Our service users were overjoyed when we handed them out. It was big smiles all round because people certainly like their chocolate here.

“On behalf of everyone at Stockdales, I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone at GE Capital and to the staff and customers of the Co-op in Ashton village.”

Stockdales supports people with severe disabilities.
