THERE’S not long left for residents to have their say about sports and physical activity in Trafford - and to be in with a chance of winning a special VIP prize, Trafford residents are being given the chance to shape the future of sport in the borough by taking part in the largest ever sport and physical activity survey.

The Trafford Sport and Physical Activity Partnership is working to get more people, more active, more often and wants help to achieve this aim.

Through the survey the Partnership hopes to identify the current levels of participation in sport and physical activity by adults living in the borough. The questionnaire also explores the types of sport and physical activity that adults in Trafford would like to try, what motivates them to take part in sport and physical activity and what barriers there are to participation.

Each entry has the chance to win two VIP tickets to the Point Emirates Old Trafford for the T20 match vs Yorkshire Vikings on June 6. This package includes reserved undercover seating beneath the Point, two-course meal, complimentary interval refreshments, car park passes and souvenir.

Chairman of the Strategic Sport & Physical Activity Partnership Andy Worthington said: “We want Trafford residents to be among the healthiest and most active residents in the Country. This survey will be vital in helping us to deliver sport and physical activity in the future.”

The survey is available to residents online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/traffordsportsurvey or for a paper copy please visit your nearest library, leisure centre or call 0161 912 2849.
