TRAFFORD will be marking St George’s Day with a flag flying ceremony outside Altrincham Town Hall.
The ceremony, which is due to start at 11.25am on Wednesday, April 23, will immediately follow a scheduled citizenship ceremony meaning Trafford’s newest citizens can witness the raising of the flag along with local residents and visitors.
Council leader Sean Anstee said: “I hope as many people as possible take the opportunity to celebrate this special day with us.”
