TRAFFORD’S three Rotary clubs have teamed up for the first time to organise a joint fundraising dinner for the Mayor of Trafford’s defibrillator appeal.
Altrincham, Sale and Stretford and Urmston clubs are holding a St George’s Day charity dinner on April 23 at the Cresta Court Hotel, Altrincham – with a traditional roast beef meal and music by the Stretford Brass Band.
“We’ve never done a joint event like this before but if it’s successful we all hope there will be more,” said the three pictured presidents – from left, Mike Wilson (Stretford & Urmston), Gareth Trehearn (Sale) and David Williams (Altrincham).
