Pity this local trafford meeting couldnt take place in trafford, what was that ? we have sold all of our assets and have to use other boroughs? fair enough then.

Well said mms98, I like Gove, but we should be showing off what is in Trafford - maybe even holding such a meeting in a successful Trafford school! Now there's a novel idea as he is education secretary!

Once Gove's plans for education actually start taking effect there will not be as many successful schools, in Trafford or anywhere else. Trafford council own and run a space specifically for this type of event - The Waterside, but that doesn't offer 5* accommodation, expensive champagne, nor a private golf course!! I wonder if Lyle Davies was paid for his musical entertainment - if not Lyle, have a word with the Musicians Union, these overpaid buffoon's should have paid you handsomely!!
