TRAFFORD Disability Activity Network (TDAN) organised 15 free activity sessions for disabled people throughout March.
The activities, which included photography art, tag rugby with Sale Sharks and table cricket provided by Lancashire County Cricket Club, proved popular.
Manchester FA provided football coaching for SEN pupils from Stretford High School. An arts and crafts session at Trafford Centre for Independent Living's Sale head office rounded off the events.
Kay Floyd, community project officer at LCCC viewed the table cricket as a success, saying: “Feedback from staff was really positive and we are now looking forward to delivering more taster sessions like this in schools and colleges.”
TDAN, a charity organisation, provides free membership to disabled people, parents, carers and family members in order to support inclusion and access to health and well-being activities in the local area.
