PUPILS at Broomwood Primary School took part in a sponsored BIG workout to raise money for the NSPCC.

The children took part in five different physical challenges and asked their families and friends to sponsor them.

Their efforts raised £1878.14 for the charity.

Headteacher Louise Hossen said: “I am exceptionally proud of all our children and their families for their generous support to this worthy cause."

The children had learned about the work of the NSPCC during an assembly.
