THE Sale branch of Leeds Building Society is supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care this spring by encouraging customers to purchase daffodils for a suggested donation of £1.
Marie Curie launches the Daffodil Appeal annually – it helps the organisation to care for and support people with terminal illnesses and their families. £20 pays for the charity to nurse someone with a terminal illness for one hour.
Michelle Collier, manager at the branch on School Road said: “The Great Daffodil Appeal is always very popular with our staff and customers.
“We hope to see many people walking around Sale proudly wearing a daffodil.”
