UNDER fives can enjoy soft play, dance sessions, arts and crafts and face painting at NCT (National Childbirth Trust) Trafford's Step into Spring Family Fun Day in Timperley on April 6.

The fun starts at 2pm and runs until 4.30pm at Woodlands Timperley United Reformed Church, Woodlands Parkway, Timperley, WA15 7QT with tickets costing £2.50 per person (under 2s go free).

The event, sponsored by Kids Planet Day Nurseries, will raise money for parents in Trafford including the charity's baby bundle scheme helping vulnerable mums with baby essentials and funding antenatal courses at Styal Woman's Prison.

Activities include: baby corner, face painting, craft table (sponsored by Hobbycraft Altrincham), story telling by local author Becky Donovan and taster sessions by Tumble Tots, Jo Jingles, Diddi Dance and Yoga Bellies.

One to One midwives will be on hand to talk about their services as well as Sale Sling library who will offer advice and loan slings. Babicalm will also have a stall. There's also the chance to win a toddler bike or a family ticket to a show at Sale Waterside in our prize raffle.

Organiser Caroline Bennison, from NCT Trafford, said: "This is a great chance to entertain your little ones and help raise money for parents and babies in the borough. “You'll also get to meet other parents and find out about activities going on for parents and pre-schoolers in Trafford.
