SALE-based, integrated agency One Marketing Communications is supporting Trafford’s Society for Abandoned Animals throughout 2014.
One got the partnership underway with a £300 agency donation along with the presentation of a palette of pet food which was donated bymanufacturer Pets Choice.
Staff from the agency will volunteer at the Sale-based shelter and provide the charity with its marketing expertise free-of-charge.
Natasha Woest, sanctuary manager at the Society for Abandoned Animals, said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with One Marketing Communications. As well as being local to us and extremely passionate about our cause, the agency will be able to provide us with key strategic marketing support to help us spread the word about the work we do.”
Founded by Peggy Henderson in 2009, the Society for Abandoned Animals cares for and re-houses unwanted cats, dogs and rabbits. It has successfully placed 158 Dogs, 938 cats, and 320 rabbits in new homes throughout the past five years.
Wayne Silver, managing director at One Marketing Communications said everybody at the agency was behind the decision to support the animal charity.
He commented: “It’s an absolute pleasure to be associated with the Society for Abandoned Animals. Our offices are based just a short distance away from the shelter and the work it does throughout the community truly is fantastic.
“The team is extremely excited to be backing such a worthwhile cause and we can’t wait to get volunteering.”
Julie Butcher, marketing manager for Pets Choice, said: “Here at Pets Choice we are extremely passionate about the wellbeing of pets and understand that the key ingredient to happiness is a loving home.
“We were therefore thrilled to be able to provide the charity with a selection of our nutritionally balanced pet food which we hope will alleviate funding pressures and be enjoyed by the animals as they wait to be housed by loving families.”
One Marketing Communications is a specialist agency that works with a wide range of nationally recognisable B2B and B2C clients including Moduleo, Taylor Wimpey and United Utilities.
Natasha concluded: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank One for their ongoing support on behalf of all from the Society of Abandoned Animals. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
