PENSIONER Margaret Barker re-visited her old school, Urmston Grammar, on Monday.
Margaret, born in the same year as the school was built – 1929 - attended the school during the 1940s, during the war.
Margaret went around the school and identified her form room and where she had her favourite lesson – known then as domestic science.
She also remembered schooldays spent off site, as she and her fellow pupils were bussed out to Boothstown to pick potatoes in aid of the war effort.
