ST Hugh’s Catholic Primary School in Timperley had a splashing time at the Trafford Swimming Gala, with many successes to celebrate.
The boys’ relay team won gold, while the girls’ team came fourth out of the 19 schools who took part.
Some children won individual awards; Amaar Idrees won silver in the boys’ 25m freestyle and Jude Wright won bronze in the boys’ 25m backstroke.
There was also a double success in the 25m front crawl as Juan Chung won bronze in the boys’ race while Carrie Lu won silver in the girls’ race.
The swimming gala was on February 7.
