TRAFFORD Clinical Commissioning Group is encouraging residents to take part in a Local Conversation to help shape the future of health services across Greater Manchester.

The Local Conversation is part of a programme called ‘Healthier Together’ which looks at how ‘in and out of hospital’ services can be best delivered in the future.

Trafford has already begun to future-proof its services under the ‘New Health Deal for Trafford’ which has led to changes in hospital and community care across the borough, most notably the downgrade of Trafford General’s A&E department into an urgent care centre.

Currently there are no clear plans for any changes but the Local Conversations across Greater Manchester will surround key themes about the future of care.

The future vision is that people can get the best possible quality of care in the right environment.
