VOLUNTARY and Community Action Trafford (VCAT) has launched a ‘shared space’ Initiative for non-profit organisations in Old Trafford.
The support and development agency has just moved to a new site on Talbot Road, Old Trafford, which means is is able to offer rent-free workspace within their larger premises.
MP Kate Green officially launched the shared space in front of nearly 100 representatives from nearby organisations.
This initiative means organisations only pay a contribution towards fees based on their requirements and situation, all within a modern, serviced building.
Mark Nesbitt, interim chief executive of VCAT, said: “These are exciting times for us. Not only have we relocated into a new office that provides modern facilities and good amenities, but we are also launching our innovative ‘VCAT Shared Space Initiative’.
The space provides a telephone, WIFI, a kitchen, on-site shop, private meeting/break out rooms and a 24-hour manned concierge service.
